- Category: Necklaces
- Origin: Diné of the Navajo Nation
- Medium: silver and turquoise
- Size: 16 inches long
- Item # C4413B SOLD
This silver and turquoise necklace is remarkably similar to a pair of earrings that bear the stamps of Navajo silversmith Kenneth Begay, however, there is no Kenneth Begay hallmark on the necklace. It is likely that the necklace was not made by him even though they are very similar to the pair of earrings that bear his hallmark. A photo of the earrings (our Item #C4413C) appears here, just for comparison. They are not a part of this necklace and are being offered separately.
The diameter of each of the spirals is ⅞ inches. Each silver spiral contains a small light blue turquoise cabochon. There is a handmade silver chain at the end of the spiral grouping.
Condition: original condition
Provenance: this Diné Silver and Turquoise Spiral Necklace is from the collection of a resident of Colorado
