Silver earrings with small beautifully cut turquoise cabs would normally be attributed to the talented hands of a Zuni Pueblo craftsman, but the addition of squash blossoms on the ends would lead one to suspect a Diné of the Navajo Nation silversmith. We have selected Diné as the origin. Each earring is stamped UGB, but we have not located a Zuni or Diné artisan with those initials. Regardless of who the artist was or what tribal affiliation he or she belonged, the earrings stand on their own merits. The turquoise is a beautiful blue and was cut with precision. The four small circular turquoise are so small it is inconceivable that a lapidary artisan could work on such a diminutive scale.  These are made for pierced ears.

Condition: very good condition

Provenance: these Diné Silver and Turquoise Earrings with Blossom Pendants are from the collection of a client
