This Diné of the Navajo Nation silver bolo tie is formed in a horseshoe shape and covered in a selection of matching blue turquoise gemstones, varying in size as they progress from top to tips. Attached to the silver tips are two matching blue turquoise gemstones. All the exceptional turquoise gemstones are breathtaking.

This bolo tie is signed J. Taylor with #12 and dated 1976. We have been unable to identify the jeweler or find any additional biographical information.The clasps on the back of the bolo are the old-fashioned handmade ones rather than the later commercial clips. This is an indication that the bolo probably dates to pre-World War II or slightly later.

Condition: very good condition with some minor cracks on the turquoise, however, they are secure in the bezels.
