This necklace has five strands of coral heishi with turquoise gemstones interspersed between each heishi bead. There are approximately 325 turquoise gemstones, each one of different size and shape but matched in color tonality. The necklace is a masterpiece of lapidary work. Each coral bead and each turquoise gemstone were worked individually—not an easy task.
The necklace has a silver self-locking clasp connected to a pair of silver cones.
