RARE Eight-Strand Dark Red Coral Necklace with Polished Metal Beads

This elegant necklace features eight strands of finely polished coral, showcasing a vibrant and natural beauty. The coral is accented by small, pearl-like metallic beads, adding a subtle touch of shimmer and contrast to the design.

With a hanging length of 15 inches, the necklace is completed with an authentic Pueblo Wrap (see image below), reflecting traditional craftsmanship and attention to detail.  The part of the necklace that is in the back of the neck is wrapped in cotton thread in what is known as a Pueblo Wrap. It perhaps was intended to be removed and replaced when it became soiled.  The interplay of rich coral and understated metallic beads creates a timeless piece that is both striking and sophisticated, perfect for any occasion.

Coral, a material of timeless beauty and increasing rarity, has been cherished across cultures worldwide and holds a special significance in the Southwest.
