Large Blue Drum with Painted Heads from Cochiti Pueblo [SOLD]

This drum is painted a beautiful sky blue with white at the drum heads, the two colors being separated by red bands at each end.  The edges of the heads are painted black and the tops of both heads are decorated with Sun symbol designs.  There is a hide handle at each end of the drum to facilitate turning the drum for use of either end.

Condition:  The drum is in excellent condition for its age.  It is possible that the blue paint has been re-applied over a previous paint.
