Jemez Pueblo Holy Family Nacimientos Set [SOLD]

The three pieces of the Holy Family are signed Toya Jemez, but there is no first name by which to identify the name of the potter so we have indicated "unidentified potter" for the present time.  Maybe one of our clients will recognize the workmanship and inform us which Toya made the set.

It is a charming set with all the surfaces painted with natural clay and slip with the addition of perhaps commercial blue paint for the turquoise jewelry.  The set consists of the Holy Family and three animals and a cradleboard.

Condition: original condition with the exception of minor slip loss from removal of masking tape from the backs of the two adult figures.
