As the birthstone for February, amethyst symbolizes clarity, tranquility, and protection, making these earrings both meaningful and striking. Fashioned for pierced ears, each piece is signed on the back with Sice Sterling, a hallmark of authenticity.
Howard Sice, born in 1948, is celebrated for his distinctive etching technique, which transforms silver surfaces into delicate works of art. A son of a Hopi mother and Laguna father, Sice began his career in silversmithing after serving 20 years in the United States Air Force. His award-winning designs have been exhibited at prestigious venues, including Santa Fe's Indian Market, the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture, and the Arizona State Museum.
