Turquoise is a secondary product of copper mining.  It is for that reason that one sees brown deposits or veins in turquoise stones. This magnificent ring has a beautiful brown copper deposit on its face.  It is coloration like this that enhances an otherwise solid blue stone.

The ring has a wide silver shank that splits into four branches at the point of contact with the base of the ring.  The thick silver base has lines scored into the sides and a silver twisted rope that encircles the edge of the ring.   It is a beautiful ring that was well constructed.
