This pair of original paintings by Beatien Yazz is being offered as a set because they were obviously meant by the artist to be displayed together. They were painted with the same palette and complimentary design elements. They are framed identical.
Beatien Yazz, born in 1928, spent his childhood on the Navajo Reservation, familiarizing himself with nature and the wildlife that freely roamed its vast lands. In their natural habitat, animals provided beautiful tableaus from which Yazz could draw on to create his beautiful works depicting everyday life on the reservation.
Condition: The paintings appear to be in original excellent condition but they have not been examined out of the frames.
Provenance: From an Albuquerque resident.
