This Zuni bolo tie features braided leather secured by a clasp embellished with a dark brown inlay depicting a buffalo head with a tip of an inlaid decorative buffalo head. This tie is 17" long when worn. Stamped on the back: Dale Edaakie Zuni, N.M.
Dale Edaakie, a Zuni jeweler and lapidary artist, gained renown for his exceptional craftsmanship in Native American jewelry. Born in 1938 into the Zuni Pueblo, a community celebrated for its expertise in jewelry-making and silversmithing, Edaakie continued the Zuni tradition of creating intricate jewelry pieces, including inlay work, alongside his parents Dennis and Nancy Edaakie and other family members.
