Ashtrays were popular items in the Fred Harvey gift shops. This ashtray has four eagles, one on each side. The rim has precise, symmetrical stamp work including a unique “tomahawk” design. The bowl is stamped with geometric designs and arrow motifs. Very little work was produced in copper, most having been made from sterling silver. It is a relatively rare item of the style bought by someone long ago as a reminder of their visit to the Southwest.
Condition: very good condition
Provenance: this Copper Ashtray with Four Eagle Attachments is from a gentleman in Colorado
