Cochiti Pueblo Pottery Koala Figurine [R]

This figurine, which we have interpreted as a Koala, was probably made by a member of Damacia Cordero’s family but probably not by Damacia.  That family is best known for making unusual figurines of non-native animals.  It is not signed with a maker’s name.

Condition:  The pottery figurine is in remarkable condition with only a little paint rubbed off the tail.
