This charming small male storyteller figurine was made by Buffy Cordero, granddaughter of famed potter, Helen Cordero.  Two children cling to the adult’s head, two rest on his lap, one of which is holding a ball, and one clings to the back of his shirt.  Buffy is the daughter of Helen’s son, George, and she was taught pottery making by her grandmother and her dad.  Condition: appears to be in original condition  Provenance: from the collection of Katherine H.
