Cochiti Pueblo artist Antonita, or Toni, as she was known, made a short and stocky male storyteller with facial features much like those of Helen Cordero.  His thick black hair falls over his back, his eyes are closed, mouth open, and his shirt has a bib-like panel featuring simple decoration, a collar and a nugget necklace with a pair of jaclas.

Two boys sit on the adult’s shoulders, one on his leg and a girl on the other leg.  Each of the children is dressed in highly-decorated clothes.  The boys on his shoulder cling to his hair.  The boy on his leg has one hand up to his face and the young girl has both ears covered.

Antonita Cordero Suina (1948 - ) was a daughter of Fred and Helen Cordero.  Her brother was George Cordero.  Toni, George, George’s daughter Buffy, and their cousin Tim Cordero all made storyteller figurines because of the influence of Helen Cordero.  She taught all of them the fundamentals and any storyteller made by any of the younger generation is immediately recognizable as a product of a Cordero.  They all resemble in some sense the work of Helen.
