This solid bronze pair of bookends is known as "One Feather" and was cast in 1928. It is stamped Z-R 44 on the back. The initials Z-R stamped on the back identify the manufacturer as Z-R Indian Village (location unknown).
It has been speculated that the portrait is of Sitting Bull of the Lakota tribe.
Condition: these Antique Bronze "One Feather" Indian Chief Bookends are in very good condition with antique patina
