This extraordinary large and beautiful bronze casting of an American Bison was the creation of Navajo artist Fred Begay. It was cast in Loveland, Colorado, in 1991, in an edition of 20. The sculpture is pictured in Jerry Jacka’s book “Enduring Traditions,” page 146.
The bronze casting of the bison rests atop a marble stand that, itself, is embedded into a wooden frame. The sculpture is in original excellent condition and was purchased directly from the artist by the recent owners.
