Price Reduction! Polychrome White-Slipped Cylinder Jar [SOLD]

This is truly an exceptional jar by Joy. I don’t recall often seeing cylindrical jars by her. The shape is well balanced and the designs are bold and well executed. There are four vertical panels for decoration. In tow opposing ones there is a stylized bird element. In the other two opposing ones are bird elements and cloud and rain elements. The design fits the shape of the vessel beautifully.

The jar is in original mint condition. This is one of the few times I have seen no paint smearing or rubbing on an older piece. This one dates to the 1970s. It is signed with her frog hallmark.
