Polychrome Jar by Sadie Adams [SOLD]

Sadie was recognized by collectors and her contemporaries as an outstanding potter. She had a long, successful career making and selling pottery on the Reservation. She supported her family in this manner following the death of her husband.

This jar is typical of the fine work she did. It is very symmetrical in shape and decorated appropriately for its shape. The long graceful neck adds an extra appeal to the shape of the jar.

The jar is in very good condition. It is signed with one of her flower hallmarks.
