The antelope and plants are executed in soft tones, indicating that this is a more recent piece (circa 1980s). Much of his work does not resemble the usual Navajo style, even though the subject matter may be Indian. In particular, his colors are more apt to be on the somber side. Another trait that characterizes his work is high stylization of animal and human figures and natural plant growth. Here the antelope have excessively long legs. Many of his works have dynamic rhythm, with a beautiful flow of line and color.
