Hopi Pueblo Polychrome on White Jar [SOLD]

This is such an elegant jar by Frogwoman. It has a large body area on which she applied an elaborate decoration and a graceful collar neck on which she placed a one-inch band of design. The panels of design feature stylized bird elements from the Sikyatki period. The stark white background is the perfect area on which to paint the elaborate black and red designs.

Condition: The jar is over 20 years old and is in original excellent condition.
