Hopi Pueblo Polychrome Bowl with Bird Designs [SOLD]

The potter is from the village of Polacca at First Mesa. Information about her is practically non-existent. There is one reference to an item selling at auction at Christies in New York a decade ago, but little else published.

This jar is beautifully made and finely decorated and is in original excellent condition. There are fire clouds on one side.
