The Ma’alo Katsinas are not seen as often in dances today as they were a hundred years ago. At that time, they were regular dancers in the Niman Ceremony. Today they appear with the Takurshmana Katsina in less frequent dances.
Provenance: From the estate of Transcendental artist Florence Pierce of Albuquerque who passed away in 2007 at the age of 89.
