This Gustav Stickley child's wardrobe is listed as #920 in the Gustav Stickley "The Craftsman Workshops, Syracuse, N.Y." catalog. It dates to circa 1910. It has a rectangular top over two paneled doors with copper V pulls opening to reveal two compartments over four long drawers with two open shelves below.
The Gustav Stickley red decal Als lk Kan Gustav Stickley with joiners compass is stamped on the interior of a drawer face.
The catalog description states, "Compartments for hats, shoes and toys; shallow trays for little suits and dresses."
Condition: this Mission Oak Quarter Sawn Gustav Stickley Two-Door Wardrobe, circa 1910, minor wear and small losses to wood at top edges.
Provenance: from the collection of a Santa Fe resident who has owned it since 2000.
