Channel inlay is the process of a lapidary artisan setting the stones between silver strips in a mosaic format. This is not an easy process and takes the steady hands of a true artisan. This pair of earrings was beautifully constructed with the entire dangle covered in turquoise and silver inlay jewelry.
The earrings are for pierced ears and each post is covered in a domed circular turquoise cab. The earrings appear to date from the late 20th century.
