Zuni Pueblo Channel Inlay Ring [R]

Zuni channel work consists of a mosaic technique of placing stones within a framework of silver strips. Each stone is cut to precisely fit the area. The preciseness of cutting the stones and setting them in silver takes years of practice.

This ring features three rectangular flat turquoise cabs set within silver framework on the top. Most unusual are the two triangular turquoise stones set into the sides of the ring shank.
